The seminar will cover recent developments in the law on corporate governance and directors' duties. In particular, the seminar will look at a recent slate of cases from the Singapore courts affecting directors. It will also touch on the changes to the Listing Manual proposed by SGX, as well as MAS's Consultation Paper on Corporate Governance Regulations and Guidelines issued on 18 March 2010.

The Supreme Court is seeking public feedback on its Consultation Paper regarding the use and impact of social media in the civil litigation process. The purpose of the Consultation Paper is to ascertain whether and how social media can be used effectively in our court process, such that the practice of law in Singapore can leverage on the latest developments in information technology.
