About the Play
This year, SCCA tackles prevailing issues around women through a thought-provoking, a short play, an adaptation of Timeless Tale by Leo Tolstoy. Presented by women art-repreneurs, featuring an all-female star cast - Miss-Judged is a satirical social mirror.
The original classic is a parody of the modern systems of court governance. It ridicules the ways of punishing criminals and dispensing justice in modern states. The story is narrated in a matter-of fact-tone but laced with an undercurrent sarcasm.
In our play - it is a state-run by women! We reveal through a comedy of errors and misjudgments by women that ensues in this courtroom drama when the rulers of Monjaro try to ascertain the right price for Justice! Will there be one?
An Interview with female leaders to address current prevailing issues with women and the legal industry and other biases.
