The Singapore Corporate Counsel Association is proud to present SCCA PREMIERES, held in collaboration with Straits Clan and D.L. & F. De Saram, for the launch of the SCCA Code of Ethics.  This critically acclaimed film explores the human tendency to be dishonest and will help counsel be more mindful of integrity in their everyday work. Following the movie, there will be an opportunity to have an engaging dialogue session on the ethical obligations for an in-house counsel with some of the brightest minds in the legal industry.

The SCCA Code of Ethics was borne out of a higher calling towards better counsel and is intended to serve as a general guide on the ethical and professional standards expected from the in-house community as a whole. Join us at this landmark event and take a voluntary pledge to implement the Code of Ethics in your daily duties.

About the panel:

We live in the age of ethical ambiguity. Now, more so than ever, counsel need to be hyper-vigilant of the information that they receive, process and disseminate. The panel will discuss the ethical and moral obligations of in-house counsel in today’s climate, covering concerns that counsel might have about whistleblowing, accountability and rectification. With the expertise of panelists from fraud investigations, private practice and in-house, this panel will be invaluable to all in-house counsel.

Drinks and canapes will be provided.

For those who have registered for the event, sign up here for an exclusive tour of Straits Clan, starting at 5.15pm.
