Nutanix is looking for a paralegal in APAC to join its Corporate Legal team. Responsibilities include international entity formation/maintenance, ongoing subsidiary compliance matters, assisting with employee stock compliance and reporting, acquisition and restructuring projects, and liaising with external counsel and internal business and legal partners. This role will primarily be responsible for these matters for the APAC region, but may also be asked to assist with projects outside of the region on a case by case basis. The candidate must thrive on the challenge of a fast-paced environment and work autonomously to execute multiple time-sensitive projects. This role demands flexibility, resourcefulness, and an innovative spirit.
- Previous work experience as corporate paralegal or related experience with multinational/Fortune 500 company or law firm. -Experience with corporate governance/secretarial support in multiple APAC countries (specific experience with India or PRC requirements is a plus). - Experience working across functions (Tax, Finance, Accounting, HR) to execute complicated and interdependent tasks. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with advanced desktop computer skills. - Fluency (reading/writing/speaking) in English is a must, fluency in Mandarin/Simplified Chinese is a plus. - Self-starter with strong bias for action and keen attention to detail. - Outstanding judgment and discretion with confidential matters. - Law degree or paralegal qualification from a recognized institution is a plus.
