ICCA at APAC Legal Congress 2025: Strengthening In-House Counsel Collaboration Across Asia Pacific
On April 3-4, 2025, Indonesia Corporate Counsel Association (ICCA), represented by its Vice President, Randi Ikhlas Sardoni, attended the APAC Legal Congress 2025, hosted by the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) at One Farrer Hotel, Singapore.
The event gathered over 2,000 participants from various countries across the Asia Pacific region and was officially opened by Ms. Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance, and Second Minister for National Development.
During this event, ICCA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SCCA to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two associations. This collaboration focuses on capacity building and the exchange of information and best practices among in-house counsel.
In addition to ICCA and SCCA, the MoU was also signed by the in-house counsel associations from Japan (Japan In-House Lawyer Association / JILA) and Thailand (Thai-CCA). The event was attended by representatives from associations in Malaysia (MYCCA), Philippines (LMCP), Korea (IHCF), and the President of In-House Counsel Worldwide (ICW).
ICCA views such regional collaborations as a key step towards empowering in-house counsel to support good governance within companies and across borders.
ICCA also warmly invites all members of in-house counsel associations across Asia Pacific to join us at the Indonesia In-House Counsel Summit & Award, which will be held in Bali in October 2025 as ICCA’s flagship event.
Let us continue to strengthen synergy and collaboration among the in-house counsel community across the region.
