A Creed for All Members of the In-House Legal Profession

To reinforce SCCA's commitment to ethical practice and professional excellence, we invite members to affirm the following creed, which encapsulates the core principles guiding in-house counsel:
 
I am a member of the legal profession and I hold as paramount the values of integrity, professionalism, and justice.

In all my dealings with the Courts, clients, fellow legal practitioners, and the public, I will:

• act with honesty;
• uphold the honour of the legal profession; and
• serve the administration of justice.
