About the Challenge
The SCCA Legal Eagle Challenge is a unique competition designed to provide undergraduate students a real taste of in-house legal practice.
Organised by SCCA, the Challenge places participants in the role of General Counsel, advising businesses on real-world legal and commercial issues. Participants will navigate scenarios that mirror the challenges faced by in-house counsel; from managing legal risk and supporting business strategy to delivering clear, practical advice to business stakeholders.
Through a series of scenarios, the Challenge highlights the commercial mindset and practical problem-solving approach required of in-house lawyers. Participants will be expected to balance legal considerations with business objectives and recommend solutions that are both legally sound and commercially viable.
