With over 15 years of experience in the public sector, Jay has built a strong foundation in operations management, customer service, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association, Jay leads initiatives that enhance organisational efficiency and implement strategies to support the in-house counsel profession.

Previously, Jay spent 12 years at the Ministry of Law, Singapore, in various leadership roles, including Deputy Director (Operations) and Center Manager. In these positions, Jay was responsible for overseeing customer service operations across the Ministry's services and contact centers, focusing on process optimisation and improving service delivery. Jay's key achievements include spearheading operational improvements that significantly enhanced service efficiency and customer satisfaction, as well as leading teams to implement quality improvements that resulted in better customer experiences. Jay also contributed to policy formulation and insolvency-related initiatives in earlier roles.

These experiences have equipped Jay with the ability to align strategic objectives with operational outcomes, fostering high-performing teams and delivering impactful results. Earlier in his career, Jay served with the Ministry of Defence, managing bilateral defense relations and policy development, further refining the ability to navigate complex and dynamic environments.
